Drive to Tagaytay :-)

About a month ago, Angge, Sarji, Raisa, Cecil and I agreed to go to Tagaytay to do what we do best and with gusto – chill. Come 18th of August, Angge, Sarji and I pushed through with the agreement. Raisa and Cecil cancelled for the latter’s friend’s despedida. We completed. We’re all good. :-)

Since I just recently moved back in with my parents after four years of living semi-independently, I am not used anymore to anyone asking me where I am going and who I am going with; even just telling them in advance that I would be going out of town for the next couple of days. So, I told my mom this morning and my dad just before I left, complete with my backpack on. The conversation went:

M: Dad, punta ako sa Tagaytay. Sa bahay kami ni Sarj magsstay.
D: Nino?
M: Ni Sarj. Yung nag-attend nung isang birthday mo.
D: (silent)
M: Kasama namin si Angge and Raisa and a couple other friends.
D: (silent)
M: Alis nako. Bye!

In my head, err, ok. One, my Dad must’ve thought I’ve crossed over. Two, he may be thinking that “ang bilis naman ng anak ko.” Three, “alis ka nang alis, wala ka namang trabaho.” Anyway…

Sarj picked me up at Jollibee Del Monte. We then fetched Angge. And, then, went to Alabang to shop for necessities (liquor, cigs, chips, etc), have dinner, withdraw money, buy milk tea (for me) and jamba juice (for Angge). Sarj had a bit of cardio too!

At the time of this writing, we were cruising along SLEX, smoking while really good music was playing. It was chill and it was so awesome. Great music, great company, great conversations = great roadtrip experience.

We just passed by Laguna Belair and on our way now to Tagaytay, nonstop now I suppose. And, can’t wait for what would happen next. This would be an experience full of perfect memories. I love my life!
