After enjoying the beaches of El Nido, Justine and I headed back to Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Our home for a few days was Purple Fountain Courtyard Inn.
Palawan will always be one of those places I wouldn’t have second thoughts visiting again. I first set foot on it when I went to Puerto Princesa a few years ago to see the Underground River, snorkel at Honda Bay, and impulse-scuba dived at Dos Palmas. The experience was so awesome that when Justine said that she wanted to book a flight to anywhere and suggested Palawan (Justine: Let’s go to El Nido!), I immediately said yes. The subsequent events just came as pleasant surprises and miracles, I would say. :)
El Nido is indeed a paradise. I cannot find words that would give justice to how beautiful the place is. But, below are some pictures (barely edited because, uhm, I do not know how to edit haha) to speak for the beauty of this lovely spot in Palawan. :)
You have several options to get to El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. As someone who is based in Metro Manila, though, this post will discuss mainly about how to get to El Nido from Manila.
Finding an accommodation during trips is like a game for me. I win if I get the balance of affordability, comfort, clean bathroom, and great customer service. I’ve had these in my stays in Peredo’s Lodging House in Baguio City, Crystal Beach Resort in San Narciso, Zambales, Flotsam and Jetsam Hostel in San Juan, La Union, and Uma Dewi Guest House in Ubud, Bali. And, most recently, at Nido Bay Inn in El Nido, Palawan.
