🏨 Baguio Accommodations I’d Recommend to a Friend
Here’s my curated list of where to stay in Baguio, including only Baguio hotels and accommodations I’d be happy to recommend to a friend.
1) The Podium Boutique Hotel Baguio
✅ Best for: Couples | Scenic stays | People who need access to elevators

My friend and I stayed here just last January 2026 and absolutely loved the experience. Located along Marcos Highway, The Podium Boutique Hotel is better suited for travelers who prefer scenic views and a quieter stay over walkability to Session Road or Burnham Park.
In the morning, we had this gorgeous view from our room – a perfect way to start our Baguio day.

One thing I especially appreciated was the reliable hot water, which felt perfect after long days exploring Baguio in the cold weather. The hotel also offers elevators, parking, and luggage storage for guests arriving before check-in or departing after check-out.
Soundproofing between rooms seemed decent during our stay, though noise from the hallway could still be heard at times.
My friend and I intentionally planned for downtime during this trip. The Hoka Brew, located at the Podium Boutique Hotel was perfect for simply slowing down and enjoying the cool Baguio breeze.

The Podium Boutique Hotel is ideal for travelers looking for scenic mountain views and a quieter stay away from Session Road. It’s also a great option for those who require elevator access, need a parking space, and are comfortable taking Grab or commuting around Baguio.
💡 PRO TIP: Some accommodations in Baguio have steep stairs and limited elevators. Make sure to double check before booking, especially if you’re traveling with seniors or travelers with mobility concerns.

2) Giraffe Boutique Hotel Baguio
✅ Best for: Couples | Families | Pet owners

I returned to Baguio in February 2026 and stayed at Giraffe Boutique Hotel. Located near Mines View Park, I can see why many travelers return here, especially those looking for a quieter, more personalized stay in Baguio.
I loved how attentive they were to our needs. We had a couple of concerns and questions during our visit, and they were very prompt in addressing them. I’ve stayed in a few hotels in Baguio, and they did better in this regard. Perhaps it was also because they accommodate fewer guests, so we definitely felt a higher level of service.
I also loved their interiors, being pet-friendly, and the space where guests could have their nightcap. Plus, the food from the hotel’s restaurant, Mangiamo Ristorante and Pizzeria, was so good. We had a total of 4 meals in Baguio, 3 of them at Mangiamo. That was how good the food was.

💡 PRO TIP: If you’re planning your food itinerary too, check out my guide on where to eat in Baguio.
I recommend Giraffe Boutique Hotel for travelers looking for warm service, excellent food, and a cozy boutique stay near Mines View Park.
However, if you’re not good with stairs, then this hotel might not be for you. Also, if you’re looking for a place where a lot of Baguio tourist spots are just walkable, then you might consider booking a hotel near Session Road.
💡 PRO TIP: Book via Agoda or Booking.com. We had wanted to book directly with them, but Agoda and Booking.com had better prices.
3) Microtel by Wyndham Baguio
✅ Best for: First-time visitors | Commuters | Convenience

I’ve stayed at Microtel by Wyndham Baguio a few times over the years, and have always found it incredibly convenient. After a long trip from Manila, I could just walk straight from the Victory Liner Terminal to the hotel, which I appreciate greatly, especially during colder or rainy months.
Located in Upper Session Road, from here, you can easily access many of the best things to do in Baguio, especially around Session Road and Burnham Park.
There are many places to eat near Microtel Baguio. In the hotel, though, you’ll already have access to a branch of one of Baguio’s homegrown restaurants, Amare La Cucina (I’ve tried it in their original branch in Baguio, and the food was delicious!), perfect for when you just want to chill inside after a long day exploring the city.

The rooms are quite basic but good enough for those who want spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and clean T&B. I’ve always loved their chiropractor-approved beds, perfect after a full day of exploring Baguio.
Microtel by Wyndham Baguio is for travelers who value basic conveniences, accessibility, and a central location. But if you’re looking for more luxurious stays, even if it’s pricier, then this might not be the hotel for you. You might check out The Podium Boutique Hotel or The Giraffe Boutique Hotel.
4) Peredo’s Lodging House
✅ Best for: Families | Budget travelers

Peredo’s Lodging House was once my go-to accommodation whenever I’d visit Baguio. I loved the place’s history and heritage, and how homey the vibe is every time we visit. You’d need to take Grab or commute to visit the top tourist spots. But if you’re traveling with a group and prefer a more cozy Baguio experience, you might want to consider staying here.
If you’re just renting a room, I recommend staying in the one with a balcony. It’s my favorite room of all of Peredo’s Lodging House, and I’ve spent many nights just hanging out here with my friends.

I love the place and would recommend it to anyone visiting Baguio. But if you’re iffy with sharing a bathroom, then this might not be the accommodation for you. I think that’s the only downside of staying at Peredo’s Lodging House.
Staying at Peredo’s Lodging House feels more like being in an old Baguio home than a hotel. It has a nostalgic charm that’s rare now, as more modern places open up. It reminds me of how Baguio used to be — slower, simpler, and cozier.

If you love history, old Baguio-style accommodation, and a homey vibe, then I invite you to consider staying at Peredo’s Lodging House.
While most of the hotels on this list are places I’ve personally stayed at, I’m also including a few well-reviewed hotels that consistently come highly recommended by fellow travelers and are on my own list for future Baguio trips.
5) The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay
✅ Best for: Couples | Families | Ambiance
The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay is a favorite hotel among many seasoned travelers. Loved for its great location (within Camp John Hay), spacious and modern rooms, great views, and excellent customer service and hospitable staff, many guests, especially families, who have stayed here return for great value for money.
Its location within Camp John Hay also gives guests easy access to walking trails and the quieter side of Baguio. They have in-house dining options you might want to experience with your loved ones. A bonus is that it’s just within walking distance to Choco-late de Batirol, where you can have a sip of their traditional hot chocolate while enjoying the cool Baguio breeze.
Many travelers choose Forest Lodge because it offers the quieter Camp John Hay atmosphere while usually being slightly more affordable than The Manor.
If you have a limited budget, The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay may not be the best option. But if you are looking for a cozy experience in one of the most famous and classic hotels in Baguio City, then consider staying at The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay.
6) The Manor at Camp John Hay
✅ Best for: Couples | Families | Ambiance
Located within Camp John Hay, The Manor is known for its rustic lodge charm, pine-scented surroundings, spacious rooms, and cozy Baguio atmosphere. It is highly rated by couples looking for a romantic Baguio stay as well as by family travelers who want to create beautiful memories with their kids, including foggy mornings during the colder months.
There are more affordable stays compared to The Manor. But, if you care about ambiance, comfort, and that classic Baguio feel, The Manor at Camp John Hay is one of the city’s best places to stay.
7) G1 Lodge Design Hotel
✅ Best for: Couples | Families | Travelers who want to explore Session Road or Burnham Park
Among the hotels I haven’t stayed at, G1 Lodge Design Hotel is one I’ve seriously considered because of its contemporary design, excellent location, and inviting traveler reviews.
Located on Leonard Wood Road, G1 Lodge Design Hotel popular among travelers who want to stay within walking distance of Session Road restaurants and cafes, as well as famous Baguio tourist spots, while enjoying a more modern Baguio hotel experience.
